The Two Moors Festival

13th - 22nd October 2011

As a result of the devastation caused by Foot and Mouth, Devon locals, John and Penny Adie (Festival organisers) recognised the need to bring cheer to people's lives and to help regenerate the local economy. This provided the inspiration behind the Festival. They felt that a week of stunning music-making in churches across Exmoor and Dartmoor would be suitable for marking the end of this devastating outbreak. Out of the ashes of Foot and Mouth Disease came the Two Moors Festival.

Concertgoers travel from as far as Europe, America and Canada in order to attend the Two Moors Festival's ten day music marathon and to enjoy sensational chamber performances in one of Britain's most beautiful areas.
